PDF to Excel
BetaDetect tables in a PDF and convert them into an Excel spreadsheet (.xlsx).
About this tool
PDF to Excel finds tables in your PDF — bank statements, price lists, invoices, reports — and writes them to an .xlsx workbook. It reads the positions of the text, groups it into rows and lines up the columns, so tables without border lines work too.
Each table gets its own sheet (or all tables on one sheet), the header row is bold and frozen, and numbers like “1,234.50” or “(12.00)” become real numbers you can sum and chart. If no table is found you still get the text of each page laid out in rows and columns.
Table detection is a heuristic and in beta: try a higher sensitivity for tightly spaced tables or a lower one if ordinary text is mistaken for a table. Your file never leaves your browser.

Frequently asked questions
Does it work with scanned PDFs?
Only after OCR. Run OCR PDF first so the pages have a text layer.
Some columns are merged or split.
Adjust the sensitivity: higher finds narrower gaps between columns, lower is stricter.
Are numbers converted?
Yes, unless you turn that off — then every cell stays text exactly as in the PDF.
