Extract Tables
BetaFind tables in a PDF and export them as Excel, CSV or JSON.
About this tool
Extract Tables scans the text layer of your PDF for tabular data and exports every table it finds. It works with ruled and borderless tables alike by looking at how text lines up into rows and columns.
Download one Excel workbook with a sheet per table, one CSV file per table (UTF-8 with BOM, so Thai and other scripts open correctly in Excel), or a JSON file where each row becomes an object keyed by the header — ready for scripts and APIs.
Detection is heuristic and in beta; use the sensitivity setting to tune it for your document. Nothing is uploaded.

Frequently asked questions
What if nothing is found?
Try the High sensitivity, check that the PDF has a text layer (run OCR for scans), or use PDF to Excel which falls back to exporting all text.
Why does the CSV start with an invisible character?
That's a byte-order mark so Excel opens UTF-8 text such as Thai correctly.
Can it handle multi-page tables?
Each page's part is exported as a separate table; you can combine them in Excel.
