Privacy policy

Mofumi PDF processes every file locally in your browser. We never receive, store or see your documents.

We don't use accounts, advertising trackers or fingerprinting.

Preferences such as theme, language, favorites and recent tools are stored in your browser's local storage on your device only. You can clear them at any time from your browser settings or with the “Clear history” button.

If page-view analytics is enabled on a deployment, it is cookieless and never includes file names, sizes or content.

Optional: if you connect your Mofumi account (Sign in with LINE), Mofumi PDF sends two things to your Mofumi account: the content of PDFs you open in PDF Reader (the extracted text of every page) and your reading activity (pages viewed, time per page, where you stopped). Mofumi uses them to answer questions about your documents in this app and in LINE. The PDF file itself is never uploaded. You can pause this with “Remember what I read” and delete one document or all of them from “My reading”.

The optional trusted-timestamp feature contacts a timestamp authority you choose. Only a hash of the document is sent, and only when you enable it.
