Background Color
Give PDF pages a coloured background, like sepia paper or a soft tint.
About this tool
Background Color paints a colour behind the content of each page — great for a warm “paper” look, coloured section dividers or reducing glare.
“Behind content” draws the colour underneath everything, so it shows wherever the page was transparent. If your pages were scanned or have an opaque white background, use “Tint (multiply)”, which colours white areas while keeping dark text dark.
No rasterising: the colour is a vector rectangle, so text stays sharp and the file barely grows. Processed locally in your browser.
