Vector Extractor
BetaExtract vector drawings — lines, shapes and curves — from a PDF page or region as SVG.
About this tool
Vector Extractor reads the drawing instructions inside a PDF page and rebuilds every line, rectangle and curve as an SVG path with its fill colour, stroke colour, line width, dash pattern and transparency. Logos, charts, floor plans and technical drawings come out as editable, infinitely sharp artwork.
Draw one or more boxes on a page to extract just a region — a single logo or chart — or export whole pages. A full-page background rectangle is dropped automatically, and tiny fragments can be filtered out by size.
Text and embedded photos are not included (use PDF to SVG or Extract Images for those). The tool is in beta and runs entirely in your browser.

Frequently asked questions
Why is the result empty?
Scanned pages are images, not vectors, and text is not extracted. Try Extract Images or PDF to SVG.
Some colours look grey.
Pattern fills are approximated as grey, and gradients and clipping are not supported yet.
Which unit does the SVG use?
PDF points (1/72 inch), so the artwork keeps its real size.
