Crop PDF
Trim page margins by exact measurements or by drawing the area to keep.
About this tool
Crop PDF removes unwanted margins, scanner borders or empty space. Enter how much to cut from each side in millimetres or points, or switch to visual mode and drag a box around the part of the page you want to keep.
Apply the crop to all pages, only odd or even pages, or a custom range. “Mirror for book pages” swaps left and right margins on even pages so inner gutters are trimmed correctly for scanned books.
Cropping sets the visible page area (CropBox) without re-rendering anything, so text stays sharp and searchable. Turn on “Also change page size” to shrink the MediaBox too, which makes the crop permanent for every viewer and printer.

Frequently asked questions
Is cropped content deleted?
By default it is hidden, not deleted — a PDF editor could reveal it again. Don't rely on cropping to remove confidential content; use Redact PDF.
Can I crop different pages differently?
Run the tool once per group of pages using the page range option.
Does cropping reduce quality?
No. Pages are not rasterised; only the visible box changes.
