Two-Column Reflower
Split two-column pages into single columns for easy reading on phones and e-readers.
About this tool
Two-Column Reflower makes academic papers and newsletters readable on small screens. Each two-column page is duplicated and cropped, so the left column becomes one page and the right column the next — in natural reading order.
Adjust where the split falls if the columns are uneven, add a gutter to trim the gap between them, and choose right-to-left order for documents that read that way. Only the pages you select are split; others are kept as they are.
Nothing is rasterised: text stays sharp, selectable and searchable. The tool works on the page layout, so it doesn't reflow text inside columns.
