About this tool

Posterize PDF enlarges a page across a grid of normal sheets — 2 × 2, 3 × 3 or any rows × columns — so you can print a poster, banner or wall chart on an ordinary A4 or Letter printer and tape the sheets together.

An overlap between neighbouring tiles leaves room for glue or tape and hides small alignment errors, and cut marks show where the next tile starts. Each tile is labelled with its row and column so assembly is easy.

The enlargement is vector-based, so text and line art stay crisp even at poster size. Only images inside the PDF are limited by their own resolution.

Frequently asked questions

How should I print the tiles?

Print at 100% / actual size, with “fit to page” turned off, so overlaps line up.

What is the overlap for?

It gives space to glue or tape sheets and hides the unprintable margin of most printers.

How is this different from Lossless Slicer?

Posterize enlarges a page to fill rows × columns. Lossless Slicer keeps a large drawing at 100% and cuts it into as many tiles as needed.
