Lossless Slicer
Slice large drawings (A0, A1, A2) into printable A4 or A3 tiles at 100% scale.
About this tool
Lossless Slicer cuts large-format pages — engineering drawings, architectural plans, maps, posters — into as many A4, A3 or Letter tiles as needed, keeping them at exactly 100% scale. Taped together, the tiles reproduce the original at its true size, so measurements on the drawing stay correct.
Tiles overlap by a few millimetres for easy assembly, with cut marks and row/column labels on every sheet. Orientation can be chosen automatically to use the fewest sheets.
Unlike printing to image, nothing is rasterised: lines and text remain vector, as sharp as the original CAD export.

Frequently asked questions
Why 100% scale?
So measured distances on the printed drawing match the real dimensions. Use Posterize PDF if you want to enlarge or shrink instead.
How many tiles will I get?
As many as needed to cover the page at full size; an A1 page needs about 8 A4 tiles.
Will my printer's margins cut content?
The overlap covers typical printer margins. Increase it if your printer has wide unprintable edges.
