About this tool

Page Dimensions lists every page of a PDF with its width and height, orientation, rotation and the closest standard paper size such as A4, A3 or US Letter. It also shows the MediaBox, CropBox, BleedBox and TrimBox — the boxes printers and prepress software use to decide what gets printed and where the page is trimmed.

Sizes are reported as the page appears to the reader, after any rotation, so a rotated landscape page shows as landscape. Choose millimetres, inches or points, and optionally download the table as a CSV file for a spreadsheet.

It's a quick way to find the one odd page that makes a print job fail, or to check that artwork matches a printer's specification.

Frequently asked questions

What's the difference between MediaBox and CropBox?

MediaBox is the full physical page. CropBox is the visible area that readers display and print; it can be smaller.

Why does the paper column say Custom?

The page doesn't match a standard size within about 1 mm. Fix Page Size can convert it.

Does this tool change my PDF?

No. It only reads the file and shows a report.
