PDF Booklet
Impose pages for a saddle-stitched booklet: print, fold and staple.
About this tool
PDF Booklet rearranges your pages so that when you print them double-sided, fold the stack in half and staple the spine, you get a booklet in the correct reading order. This is called saddle-stitch imposition.
Pages are padded with blanks to a multiple of four and placed two per sheet side. Choose the sheet size, left or right binding (right for books that open the other way), and creep compensation, which nudges inner pages toward the spine so the edges line up in thicker booklets.
If your printer can't print double-sided, choose the single-sided option: all fronts are printed first, then you turn the stack over and print the backs. Pages stay vector, so text prints sharp.

Frequently asked questions
How do I print it?
Print double-sided and choose “flip on short edge”. Then fold the whole stack in half and staple along the fold.
What is creep?
In thick booklets inner sheets stick out further at the edge. Creep shifts inner pages slightly toward the spine; 0.1–0.3 mm per sheet is typical for normal paper.
Can I preview the result?
Yes — use the Booklet Folding Simulator to flip through it in 3D first.
