About this tool

Merge PDF joins any number of PDFs into one document in the order you choose. You can also drop JPG and PNG images or plain-text files into the list — they are turned into PDF pages automatically, so a scanned receipt or a note can go right next to the report it belongs to.

With bookmarks switched on, every source file becomes a bookmark named after the file, which makes long merged documents easy to navigate. You can also add a blank page between files, for example to keep each document starting on a new sheet when printing double-sided.

Merging copies pages without re-rendering them: text stays searchable, links and forms keep working and nothing is compressed. Password-protected files can be merged once you enter the password, and nothing ever leaves your device.

How many files can I merge?

Up to 100 files at once. The practical limit is your device's memory; very large sets work best on a computer.

Will my bookmarks and links survive?

Links and form fields on the pages are kept. With “Bookmark each file” on, each file also gets a bookmark named after it.

Can I merge password-protected PDFs?

Yes. Enter the password when asked; the file is unlocked in memory and the merged result is saved without a password.

Can I merge Word or Excel files?

Convert them to PDF first with Word to PDF or Excel to PDF, then merge. Images and .txt files can be added directly.
