About this tool

Bookmarks Auto-Generator reads the text of every page, finds the most common (body) font size and treats noticeably larger lines as headings. The biggest sizes become level-1 bookmarks, the next become level 2, and so on.

Set a minimum heading size if detection picks up too much or too little, choose how many levels to create and limit headings per page to skip decorative text. Headings that wrap onto two lines are joined.

The report lists every detected heading. Fine-tune the result with Edit Bookmarks, or create a printed contents page with Table of Contents.
