PDF to BMP
Save PDF pages as uncompressed 24-bit BMP bitmaps.
About this tool
BMP is a simple, uncompressed bitmap format still required by some older Windows software, embedded displays, label printers, CNC and embroidery machines. PDF to BMP renders each page and writes a standard 24-bit BMP file that these systems can read.
Because BMP is uncompressed, files are large: an A4 page at 150 DPI is about 6 MB. Choose a lower DPI if the target device has a small screen or limited memory.
The conversion runs locally in your browser with a built-in encoder — nothing is uploaded.

Frequently asked questions
Why are BMP files so big?
BMP stores every pixel without compression. Lower the DPI, or use PNG for a lossless but much smaller file.
Is transparency supported?
No. 24-bit BMP has no alpha channel, so pages are rendered on white.
Which colour depth is used?
24-bit true colour, the most widely supported BMP variant.
