Extract Attachments
Save every file embedded in a PDF.
About this tool
Extract Attachments finds every file embedded in a PDF and lets you save them — one by one or all together as a ZIP. It reads both document-level attachments and files attached to individual pages through paperclip annotations.
Many invoices, e-tax documents, PDF portfolios and engineering packages carry their real data as attachments (XML, spreadsheets, drawings). This tool gets them out without needing Acrobat.
A table lists each file's name, size and description. Extraction happens in your browser; embedded files are never opened or executed.

Frequently asked questions
The tool says there are no attachments — why?
The PDF really has no embedded files, or the “attachment” is just a link to a website. Links can be listed with Dead Link Debugger.
Is it safe?
The files are only copied out, never opened. Scan them with your antivirus before opening if they come from an unknown sender.
Are file names kept?
Yes. If two attachments share a name, the second gets a number added so nothing is overwritten.
